Texas Amber Alert canceled after 16-year-old Houston girl found, officials say

A 16-year-old Houston girl who went missing Wednesday has been found, officials say.

The statewide Texas Amber Alert issued for a missing Houston girls was canceled Thursday after the 16-year-old was found.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office was looking for the teen, who had been last seen in the 15100 block of Claypool Street around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11. Authorities believed she left her home with an adult man.

Officials were concerned the 16-year-old was in grave or immediate danger.

Anyone with information about the abduction was urged to call the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at 713-755-7427.
