Powerball player just misses $134 million jackpot in Texas — but still wins big
A Powerball ticket sold in Texas won $250,000 but just missed the $134 million jackpot, lottery officials say.
The ticket matched four winning numbers, the Powerball and the Power Play in the drawing Saturday, Nov. 16, the Texas Lottery site said.
Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $144 million, with a cash value of $66.2 million, for the next drawing Monday, Nov. 18, the national Powerball site said.
The winning numbers were 21, 22, 25, 32 and 38, with a Powerball of 16, the lottery said. The Power Play was 5x.
A Powerball ticket sold in Georgia won $2 million.
More than 450,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $250,000, the lottery said.
The Powerball jackpot has gone unclaimed since Oct. 23, when a Georgia player won the $478 million grand prize, lottery officials said.
