Loretta Lynn’s grandson lists breathtaking Texas estate — and it has a 5-dog condo
A stunning residence has landed on the real estate market just outside of Dallas, Texas, and it has some pretty impressive country music ties.
The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home rests on two acres inside a gated community on Grapevine Lake and is the epitome of elegance — as it should be, since it’s owned by Ethan Lyell, the grandson of country music icon Loretta Lynn.
The estate is listed for $6.95 million.
The home underwent a $5.5 million renovation, which can be seen throughout its 10,000 square feet and the grounds outside.
“Spanning over two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, the estate is adorned with more than 5,000 trees, shrubs, and perennials, carefully curated to evoke the charm and grandeur of a classic English manor,” a release about the home says.
“The property features cutting-edge technology, including Tesla Solar Shingles, a Control 4 smart home system, and six Carrier HVAC units, ensuring energy efficiency without sacrificing luxury.”
Other significant features include:
Chef’s kitchen
Gym
Library
Farm-to-table garden
Backyard oasis
What’s also impressive is a five-dog condo built for Lyell’s pups, Mansion Global reports.
“We probably looked at 40 homes around Dallas, and this was the very first one that we looked at,” Lyell told Mansion Global. “We loved the layout; it has all these unique areas where you can create all those cozy rooms to read a book, have a cup of coffee.”
The home knocks down its surrounding competition thanks to its impeccable interior decor, which includes various shades of blue, giving it a modern appeal.
“This estate is not just a home; it’s a lifestyle,” said listing agent Megan Williamson in a release. “The thoughtful renovation and the breathtaking landscaping truly create a sanctuary where luxury meets nature.”
The listing is held by Williamson and Damon Williamson of The Agency.
