The northbound lanes of U.S. 75 in Anna are closed after four people were killed in a major accident Friday, according to Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV.

Four vehicles were involved in an accident around 3:30 p.m. Friday just north of farm-to-market road 455.

Anna is about 75 miles northeast of Fort Worth, just above McKinney.

The four people killed were in the same vehicle, according to WFAA’s report. At least three other people were injured and taken to hospitals, police told WFAA.

Multiple agencies are responding to the scene, including the Anna, Weston and McKinney fire departments. The Texas Department of Public Safety is assisting.

The Texas Department of Transportation told WFAA that travelers can exit at White Street, as traffic is backed up for miles.
