Watch: First video inside Uvalde school shows police wait as gunman shoots in classroom

Video published Tuesday by the Austin American-Statesman shows excerpts from the nearly 80 minutes that elapsed between when a gunman walked into Robb Elementary in Uvalde and when police entered a classroom and killed the shooter.

During most of that time, officers in body armor waited in a hallway outside the fourth-grade classrooms where the gunman killed 19 children and two teachers with an AR-15 style rifle.
