Wife forced 9-year-old into sex acts with husband and filmed it, Texas officials say

A Texas woman is going to federal prison for forcing a 9-year-old girl to performing sex acts with her husband and filming it has pleaded guilty, prosecutors say.

Dawn Greenwood, 39, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for production of child pornography, according to a U.S. Attorney for the Northern District news release. She had pleaded guilty to the charge in October. Her husband, Shon Greenwood, pleaded guilty in December, and is scheduled to be sentenced this spring, officials say.

An investigation into the couple began when Shon Greenwood posted explicit photos of children on Facebook, and the social media site notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, officials said.

Police searched the Greenwood’s homes in Balch Springs, a suburb of Dallas, and Boone County, Missouri, in the central part of the state. They seized also seized the couple’s cellphones and found a copy of the video on each device, officials said.
