Presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke is still holding a campaign event in Fort Worth Friday night.
But it’s in a different location.
O’Rourke’s campaign sent out an advisory Thursday afternoon saying that the El Paso Democrat’s event will now be a town hall at the Flying Saucer, 111 E. 3rd St., in Fort Worth.
When asked about the new location, staff replied that the shift occurred because of weather concerns.
Doors are still scheduled to open at the same time originally planned, 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, O’Rourke will give the commencement address at Paul Quinn College in Dallas.
Democratic presidential candidate Julián Castro of San Antonio will appear in Fort Worth at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at Mi Charrito Restaurant, 5693 Westcreek Drive, and walk nearby blocks afterward.
