This map shows the COVID vaccination sites, pictured as red dots, that were set up in 2021 by the UNT Health Science Center and its contractor OptumServe. Clicking on each dot will bring up the site location and the number of vaccines administered there. The map is also shaded to display the social vulnerability index (SVI) of each census tract in Tarrant County, where SVI is a composite measure of how much support a community needs during stressful events. The darker shading indicates that an area is more vulnerable and has higher needs. Clicking on each shaded area will bring up each census tract's SVI score, as determined by the CDC.
Note: The St. Paul's vaccination site is not located on this map because it was referenced as St. Paul's Catholic Church in some documents and East St. Paul Baptist Church in others. There were three vaccinations given at that site. Source: CDC, ESRI, OptumServe and the UNT Health Science Center.
