US Senate candidate Republican Wesley Hunt schedules Denton event
Congressman Wesley Hunt is holding a campaign event in Denton on Wednesday, his campaign announced.
Hunt, a Houston Republican, is running for the Senate seat John Cornyn has held since 2003. His primary opponents include Cornyn and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. There are eight Republican primary candidates.
Whoever wins the March 3 primary will face one of the three Democratic primary candidates, which include Jasmine Crockett, James Talarico and Ahmad Hassan. Talarico is holding an event in Dallas on Wednesday.
Hunt’s event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Robson Ranch clubhouse, 9428 Ed Robson Circle. His campaign did not share information about if the event was free or invite-only.
Hunt is also holding an event in Midlothian on Wednesday, his campaign said. That event will be at 1 p.m. at Bearded Ax Brewery, 301 W. Main St. Suite 126.
