Have you been involved in a civil lawsuit or bankruptcy proceeding? If yes, please explain:
Bankruptcy 2001. I was speaking with a friend and they had file a few times. I became curious of how the system worked. We spoke with an attorney who told us to stop paying our bills for a few month. The attorney filed a case for us and we were able to file and get all our debt dismissed. That’s when I realized bankruptcy was a way to help the rich get richer.
Who are your top three campaign contributors?
Michael Evans Steve Ruiz Regenia Crane
Why are you seeking this office?
I believe that we need more women especially minority women leading law enforce agency. I’ve had women call me personally to talk about issues that they would not feel comfortable talking with to male.
What are the biggest challenges facing a Tarrant County Constable for Precinct 7?
Getting voters to research the candidates. I believe that if voters knew the candidates we would have a better chance of having elected officials who actually care about the citizens.
If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
1. Continue to be fiscally responsible with taxpayers tax dollars and continue to generate revenue higher than expect. 2. Make sure we have the workforce needed to serve the citizens. 3. Continue our community policing efforts
How will you measure your success as a Tarrant County Constable for Precinct 7?
I measure success by the citizens who tell me how much they love my work ethic.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
Over the last 18 years I’ve shown the citizens in Pct. 7 what type of person, worker, mentor and Christian I am. In 2020 I was able to win over a 16 year incumbent with no law enforcement experience. At 59 I went to the law enforcement academy at the top of my class and completed it without needing an extension. I’ve shown the citizens who I am and who I represent. Hopefully they are paying attention and will cast their vote for me in November.
