Have you ever been arrested, charged with a crime or otherwise been part of a criminal proceeding? If yes, please explain:
No.
Have you been involved in a civil lawsuit or bankruptcy proceeding? If yes, please explain:
No.
Who are your top three campaign contributors?
Jeanne and Berry Cox Peggy and Carl Sewell Kathy and Harlan Crow
Why are you seeking this office?
My husband and I have called North Texas home for 20 years; it’s a thriving and dynamic region. My family represents that dynamism as small business owners living their version of the American dream. Our lives and small business experience mirror that of the community in Texas 26; we understand the challenges and opportunities of the voters and want to be a voice for North Texas in D.C.
What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 26?
1. Border security–Biden’s open border has made every county a border county, including Cooke, Denton and Wise which make up CD-26. The open border is a threat to the public safety, economic security, and sovereignty of every citizen of our nation.
2. Defending our family values: We need to return America to values rooted in faith and family. Our children shouldn’t face daily assaults on social media and in the classroom trying to sexualize them and indoctrinate them with radical gender ideology. We must protect the innocence of our impressionable young people and teach them to respect and value themselves for what they can achieve.
3. Economic prosperity: People move to TX–especially North Texas–for the same reason I came here: because it is the best place in the WORLD to start a business and raise a family. That means keeping taxes and regulations LOW, empowering job creators and unleashing economic freedom to keep quality of life high.
If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
Border Security
Defend our family values
Economic prosperity.
How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?
By ensuring the constituents of CD-26 have their conservative voice well represented in policy making and that the office is serving their needs when navigating the daunting federal bureaucracy.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
My background in running research centers, volunteering in public advocacy groups, and running a congressional office as chief of staff ensures I have the policy knowledge and ability to run an efficient office and fight for the needs of North Texas effectively in Congress.
What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
Congress must enforce our current immigration laws and close the border with physical barriers to stop illegal crossings. Congress needs to pass President Trump’s Remain in Mexico Policy and dispatch more immigration judges to the ports of entry, so we aren’t releasing illegal immigrants into our country for court dates years in the future.
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
Congress needs to help the local cities with infrastructure. CD 26 is a growing population and has been represented by a doctor for 20 years in Congress; healthcare is the next issue Americans, especially those in CD 26, will face very soon. We need price transparency and real solutions to the ongoing costs we pay for healthcare. We need more affordable health insurance options, utilizing free market solutions and products that promote personal responsibility, like health savings accounts.
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
Funding to close the border-- We need to prioritize funding on keeping Americans safe by closing the border and restoring the rule of law.
As a legal immigrant, I came the right way, and we need to have everyone do the same.
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
Yes. We have always stood by our allies who stand for the same principles and values as us - freedom and religious liberty. Hamas is a terrorist organization and needs to be eliminated. The US should continue to stand and help our allies with a clear description of what funds will be used for-- no blank checks and never boots on the ground.
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
Healthcare. Millions of Americans have faced or know someone who has/is facing a debt because of healthcare. We need to have substantive solutions. The US is the only country researching and studying for solutions to illnesses and diseases. American ingenuity is creating miraculous health solutions that improve the lives of people all over the world. Yet Americans are charged a premium on drugs and healthcare services that others do not have to pay. The reverse should be happening, where we pay lower costs. Americans should not have the weight or burden of worrying if the doctor’s visit is worth a month of rent or groceries.

Who are your top three campaign contributors?
Self
Why are you seeking this office?
To apply my training and knowledge as a lawyer, my personal integrity and my lived experience under a Cold War Eastern European communist regime to restoring the proper consitutional balance of power between the federal government, states and the people. I’ve already lived in a lawless surveillance state, with two-tier justice, weaponized government, hyperinflation and wars. America is in danger of becoming such a country. I offer to serve my district by applying all I know and can do to make sure Congress doesn’t let the federal government become a failed state. Without doing that, we can’t have anything else - free and fair elections, a secure border, sustainable government financing or happy and healthy lives for us and our children.
What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 26?
Government spending that is causing an unsustainable national debt, excessive tax burden and inflation; Interference with parental rights in their children’s education; Texans’ loss of confidence in federal government
If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
Election integrity, Border security, Government spending
How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?
By whether the answer is yes to: 1) Have we avoided war? 2) Have we secured the southern border? 3) Have we restored equality before the law for targeted groups, like, parents, pro-life Americans and traditional Catholics? 4) Have we set federal government spending on a path to significantly and rapidly reduce the federal debt and operate with balanced budgets?
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
The challenges America faces today are ones it hasn’t seen since it separated from the Old World. The challenges are rooted in anti-democratic ideas imported from that Old World. Overcoming the challenges takes people in Congress who have lived in the Old World under regimes based on those anti-democratic ideas, like I have. That experience informs me exceptionally well of the dangers we must avoid in how America is governed. I am also a business lawyer. I know how law is made well and how it’s misused to cause harm. I also know that when American entrepreneurship and work ethic is allowed to compete fairly and is unshackled from self-destructive laws and regulations, it can accomplish anything, solve anything and propel America into a new era of prosperity for all Americans. I’ll do all I can to unshackle American enterprise to make that prosperity possible.
What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
While honoring the obligation to pay social security and medicare, refuse to fund the federal government until the executive branch faithfully executes the federal government’s constitutional duty to secure Texas’ borders from invasion and violence or enable Texas to do it for itself.
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
Secure the border, stop printing money, end deficits, stay out of wars and get out of the way of the state of Texas and North Texas counties doing what they know is best for themselves. Getting out of the way means ending unconstitutional overreach of the federal government into things that the Consitution says only States have a right to do, or the people.
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
Social Secuirty. If Americans are forced to pay into social security, then the federal government must fully honor its obligation to pay out social security as promised.
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
Humanitarian aid yes. Military aid only for defensive purposes provided that each country is actively in good faith negotiations to ASAP restore peace.
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
Sound money and return to free banking. 2/3rds of federal spending comes from borrowing and the federal government owes more trillion$ than it can ever repay. It’s plainly visible that the goal is to “repay” that debt by inflation: repay debt borrowed in today’s dollars with tomorrow’s dollars that money printing makes worth less. In the process inflation will wipe out savings and make wages buy less. It’s made possible by fiat curency and the US government borrowing from a Fed, that lends money printed out of thin air, instead of directly from those who have to pay it back, the voters. No surprise the temptation to start silencing all forms of dissent. If Americans are to be healthy, happy, rich and free, the authority to print money and decide its value must return to Congress, as the Constitution requires. We must be able to direclty fire at election time those who borrow on our credit card. No CBDC. No central planning. Restore fair competition and innovation to banking.

Denton County Commissioner - 1992-2000; Denton County Judge 2000-2002; Candidate for Congress TX-26 2002
Please list the highlights of your civic involvement/activism.
I have been active in the Republican Party since the age of 15, having served as a precinct chairman, senatorial district and state convention delegate, elected county commissioner, elected county judge and appointed regional administrator of the U.S. General Services Administration. My civic involvement/activism has spanned five decades, and I have always remained true to my free-market Constitutional conservative values and beliefs. I have built roads, strengthened communities, fostered economic development, supported charities, cut spending, cut taxes, and balanced budgets. As an elected official, I refused to accept any pay increases until after the voters had an opportunity to evaluate my performance and re-elect me. I have demonstrated through my careers that our conservative philosophy and commitment to smaller, constitution-focused government provides the best path for success and a better future for our children.
Have you ever been arrested, charged with a crime or otherwise been part of a criminal proceeding? If yes, please explain:
No
Have you been involved in a civil lawsuit or bankruptcy proceeding? If yes, please explain:
1992 civil suit from car accident - settlement; 1992 election challenge - election upheld; various lawsuits in official capacity at Denton County and U.S. General Services Administration.
Who are your top three campaign contributors?
I have made a personal loan to the campaign; have several individuals who have contributed the federal max of $3,300 per election.
Why are you seeking this office?
I am running for Congress because I love this country, I love this state and I love this district. But most importantly, I am running for Congress because I love my children. I have lived in this district for more than 50 years, raised my family here, voted and served in elected office here, helped to build our roads and strengthen our communities. I have a proven track record of conservative tax-cutting and budget-balancing leadership. There is still so much work to be done in Washington. We must first close and secure the border, and then Congress must act on their primary responsibility to reduce the debt and cut wasteful spending. That is my passion, and I am the candidate best equipped to do that work.
What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 26?
Close and Secure our Border – Biden’s “No Borders” policy has left us with no alternative but to support the State of Texas effort to secure the border until we re-elect President Trump and Republican majorities in the Senate and House. In January 2025, we must and will act to end this crisis.
Cut Spending, Reduce the Debt – the most persistent crisis facing our nation is the $34 Trillion debt and out of control spending. This crisis was 100% created by Congress and can only be fixed by Congress. I will work to craft legislation and build consensus to bring fiscal responsibility to Washington. I support making President Trump’s tax cuts permanent, a Balanced Budget Amendment and a Term Limits Amendment.
Protect our Freedoms and our Republic – we are under assault daily from the Left to erode our rights and liberties. I will work to protect life, the 2nd Amendment, election integrity, free markets, free expression of our faith, and a strong, well-equipped military.

How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?
I will measure my success as a U.S. Representative by the amount of effective conservative legislation we are able to implement. Far too many members of Congress now measure their success by how much money they raise, face time they get on the news shows, or by how many Facebook followers they have. My success will be measured by how quickly we close and secure the border, how much we reduce the debt and cut wasteful spending, and by how strongly we support and implement our conservative agenda.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
Having lived in North Texas and this district for more than 50 years, I worked to turn this very district red for the first time in 1984. This is my lifelong home and always will be. I understand and share the conservative values of this district. I have lived here, voted here, raised my family here, have a career here and have served the public here. As Denton County Judge and County Commissioner, I helped to build the roads we rely on today, and strengthen the communities we live in, all while cutting the county tax rate. At the General Services Administration, my job was to help build and maintain border stations across Texas and New Mexico. We also worked to ensure that Border Patrol agents and local law enforcement had access to the latest equipment and tools to protect our borders. I have the hands-on experience, proven conservative track record and deep roots in this district to best represent our citizens in Washington, D.C.
What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
Congress should be resolved to not move forward with new spending until President Biden acts to close and secure the border. I don’t believe that will happen. Biden’s “No Borders” policy has left us with no alternative but to support the State of Texas effort to secure the border until we re-elect President Trump and Republican majorities in the Senate and House. In January 2025, we must and will act to end this crisis. On January 3rd, 2025, I will work ensure the first bill we pass fully funds and authorizes the completion of the border wall, provides funding to repair our border stations and equip our border patrol agents, and reimburses Texas for the border security costs we are incurring because President Biden refuses to do his job.
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
The role of Congress should be to reduce the size and scope of the Federal Government, reduce its interference into the economy, markets and our daily lives, and free the American people to prosper. Members of Congress must be active in their districts and the surrounding regions to look for opportunities to facilitate communication throughout the region and work to ensure Federal agencies are responsive and supportive of local communities.
On a larger scale, Congress should look to remove unnecessary and harmful regulations that stifle the economy and impede the development of infrastructure that supports growing communities.
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
Close and Secure our Borders – complete the wall, update and upgrade border stations, properly staff and equip border agents and local law enforcement, identify cartels as terrorist organizations, fight human trafficking and fentanyl distribution, end welfare and other incentives for illegal aliens, deports those here illegally beginning with those overburdening our jails.
Cut Spending, Reduce the Debt, Free People – civilian hiring freeze, annual across the board budget cuts for all agencies, ban earmarks, restore Presidential budget veto powers, repeal harmful regulations.
Restore and Respect the U.S. Military – rebuild America’s military strength, pioneer continued development of latest technology and equipment, appropriately fund, house and staff our military branches.
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
The United States must be ready and willing to provide additional support to Israel when needed. Due to the continuous physical attacks on Israel, and the need to respond, I support additional funding to ensure that Israel can replace and maintain the missile interceptors for the Iron Dome defense system. In light of the October 7 Hamas attacks, Israel’s need for emergency defense funding and equipment replacement is a top priority for me, and I am committed to providing funding for Israel’s defense in an expedited manner.
I have no confidence in President Biden to effectively work to end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, nor do I trust his ability to oversee additional foreign aid to Ukraine. I have great confidence in President Trump’s judgment and ability to resolve the conflict and will support his effort in January 2025. If his assessment is that additional foreign aid is needed to end the conflict, I will be more inclined to support that request.
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
A critical Texas policy issue that needs greater attention is our growing water needs. As North Texas continues to grow, there is increased need and pressure on our water supply. Communities across the 26th District are grappling with water issues now. We worked through some of these same issues during my years as county commissioner and county judge, and I will have a unique perspective to assist in this discussion as a Member of Congress.

Why are you seeking this office?
I am a Conservative Republican, a legal immigrant, a combat veteran who served during 9/11 & I’m a Jeopardy! champion who works in construction.
On Aug 26th, 2021, seeing that plane take off from Afghanistan and the bodies falling off the wings was my call to action .
They had nothing in common with me and my friends - and I believe that’s part of the reason why our problems are getting worse. The sting of gas prices at the pump doesn’t affect them, nor does paying $600-$800 a month (on the low end) for healthcare. College loans or good paying jobs aren’t an issue nor is getting involved in foreign wars - after all their sons & daughters aren’t enlisting
i want common sense to be restored and my campaign is about solutions - from figuring out how to bring back American manufacturing, to fixing our border to raising minimum skill to lowering our debt - I have ideas and I intend to start fixing things.
What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 26?
Government agencies run-amok with un-elected bureaucrats making laws. For example, the ATF turning law abiding citizens into potential felons because of sudden statutes.
In every town from Muenster to Decatur, I heard about tragedies from fentanyl. In Carrolton, an elementary school child died from fentanyl.
Healthcare is killing us - not many can comfortably afford it - I met many a family where full coverage for them is more than their rent or their mortgage.
Social security & Medicare is of a serious concern to those on it. Rightfully so - Medicare trust fund is almost exhausted and Social Security will be exhausted by 2034.
Veterans in our district have all complained about lack of care as well as the lack of substance abuse and mental health treatment options.
Many in our district are concerned with free and fair elections and want voter IDs.
The border & illegal immigration affects us all.
Because of our debt, everyone owes over $100K now.
If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
The border/immigration
Lowering our debt/inflation & reducing government (for example cutting 3 letter agency funding)
Raising minimum skill/American manufacturing
How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?
Through metrics:
1. Get funding for border wall, but also get it built. Enforce and empower agencies to be able to do their jobs - ICE, Border Patrol etc.
2. Immigration reform - by having a 6 month moratorium on all immigration to allow USCIS to process the backlog (some for over 150 year wait times). Codify asylum laws for rare/exceptional cases. Create a new visa for temporary/seasonal workers. Codify ‘Remain in Mexico’ into Federal law.
3. Reduce the debt by $15 Trillion - this is imperative. Our debt must not exceed 1 to 1 with respect to GDP.
4. Increase American manufacturing by 10%
5. Passing a bill which allows for Veterans to receive mental health help regardless of discharge.
6. Passing a bill reforming federal student loan lending to ensure zero interest, principal only loans.
7. Passing a bill requiring voter IDs for voting in federal elections.
8. Repealing the Patriot Act
9. Limiting and regulating federal agencies and removing unnecessary statutes.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
I’m endorsed by my wife.
I’m old enough to have life experience, but young enough to have the energy to get things done. I’ll work harder than anyone else to form coalitions and whip the votes to pass legislation.
One of the things I did was door-knock over a 1000 doors in our district and collected over 500 signatures (and I still paid the fee to get on the ballot) - none of my other opponents did that.
I learned about our issues. It changed me. I heard many hopes, dreams & fears - I felt that our current political class is more interested in staying in power & fund raising than actually fixing problems. I know who I’m fighting for - us.
I’m a troubleshooter. If I don’t sound like a politician, it’s because I have a job, in construction.
We are Americans. As the only veteran in our race, I swore an oath to protect our country. As an immigrant, I know why our country is the greatest on Earth and worth fighting for.
I’ll work really hard to not disappoint you.
What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
Shut the border fully for 6 month, with a moratorium on immigration during that time.
Build a wall on the Souther Border.
Declare the cartels to be a terrorist organization.
Codify ‘remain in Mexico’ to be a law.
Immediately deport illegal alien with a felony criminal record with permanent bans for entry. Immediately deport any illegal alien with suspected terrorist ties as well as immediately arrest, detain and deport those with ties to the MSS or other foreign intelligence or military agencies.
Change the asylum status definition away from those displaced by climate change and make asylum exceedingly rare and only for those escaping persecution as well as for those who assist U.S. troops in conflict zones.
Hire more workers at USCIS to process the backlog of legal immigrants.
Allow Border Agents to enforce the law.
Revisit the situation after the six month moratorium with the wall construction complete.
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
Texas should prepare for population gowth - it is the state’s responsibility. Congress, however, should enact strict laws against illegal immigration which over-burden the system.
Congress can also fix infrastructure issue and incentivize job growth by removing regulation which stifles private growth. The SBA can be expedited for providing loans and grants for funding small businesses. By reducing or cutting taxes, Congress can create more wealth for the citizens in North Texas. By incentivizing American manufacturing, Congress can help create new jobs in our area. By lowering inflation and paying off our debt, Congress can help bring down interest rates which can allow not only potential for home ownership but also private enterprise growth. By working transparency in healthcare, Congress can help create a healthier population. There are many things that Congress can do by working with local leaders, mayors as well as police and fire departments to help North Texas grow.
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
The Border because it is an existential threat for societal collapse. Paying off our Debt because it is an existential threat for economic collapse. Fixing/Modernizing our infrastructure because it is an existential threat for logistical collapse.
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
Not a cent more until our border is fixed.
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
Our pipelines and our grid have serious vulnerabilities. Our enemies know this and this is an urgent issue which we must fix immediately by modernization. In addition regulating Artificial Intelligence as well as hardening various networks against AI assisted attacks (whether at a private or a nation-state level) is critical.

Have you been involved in a civil lawsuit or bankruptcy proceeding? If yes, please explain:
No
Who are your top three campaign contributors?
None
Why are you seeking this office?
As a first-generation immigrant, I am passionate about giving back and being a powerful voice for District 26 in the US Congress. This includes:
- Securing our borders
- Supporting our Constitution
- Protecting our rights and freedoms
Being a physician and leader, improving healthcare is one of my top priorities, especially care for the aging population, women, veterans, minorities and under-served remote areas.
Given my experience as a school board trustee, I have already successfully advocated for STEM education, school safety, investments in sports and music and higher governance standards and infrastructure.
As a small-business owner, I understand the challenges of setting up a business and making payroll. I advocate for a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem for America’s leadership in the world.
I will leverage my long and varied experience, education and leadership to provide outstanding value for my constituents and colleagues in the US Congress
What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 26?
CD26 is growing rapidly and we require adequate infrastructure to meet its needs. This includes roads, highways, hospitals, administrative support, educational facilities, new home development, etc. We also need safety and security since the district is impacted by the border situation.
If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
1. Secure our borders effectively
2. Election Integrity
3. Reduce inflation and control spending
How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?
I will measure my success by the new legislation I introduce, partnering with like-minded colleagues in Congress. This will include focusing on the biggest challenges facing our nation today: border security, election integrity, inflation. I will not be influenced by special interest groups and will fight to uphold the constitution.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
1. As a legal immigrant who came to the US as a Physician, solving the border crises is my first priority. It took me 15 years to get US citizenship
2. As a Medical Doctor I understand healthcare challenges, including the increasing costs.
3. As an experienced School Board Trustee, I helped to pass of Bond of $ 321 Million and ensure a balanced budget.
4. As a founder of a technology business, I have experienced the challenges of a small business.
5. I am a long-term advocate for providing the best care for our Veterans.
6. My global experience makes me value people’s freedom’s and rights and I greatly love our Constitution
7. I have been an advocate for minority-owned businesses as well as woman-owned small businesses.
8. I have lived in this area for 17 years and have been actively engaged in this community. I have raised my family here. I understand the challenges and needs of the citizens of this district.
9. I am a Constitutional Conservative
What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
Securing our borders is the biggest challenge of Texas. The lack of border security has led to a myriad of issues for our local economy and safety, and also puts the lives of the migrants at risk. It puts a burden on our infrastructure and impacts the lives of the citizens.
My proposal would be to first focus on a short-term solution, while also defining a long-term solution. Some perspectives are:
1. Analyzing the root cause of the migration issue to clearly understand why these migrants are coming here. Based on the findings, a long term solution can be defined.
2. Stop human trafficking and exploitation of women and children.
3. Stop the inflow of drugs since it is a root cause of the fentanyl problem and crime
4. Send a clear message that the border of the US is protected and should not be treated as a processing zone for anyone who arrives there.
5. Find a solution to the millions of migrants who are here illegally.
6. Find a bipartisan solution
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
Congress should creats additional budget for the higher infrastructure needs of North Texas. This region has proven its ability to become a strong economic zone for prosperity and growth. A large number of global firms continue to move here and additional incentives should be given to attract businesses and talent. There needs to be investment in educational systems, healthcare, safety and security, roadways, sports and recreation.
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
Given the Covid experience, the funding priorities should be as follows:
1. National Security (secure the borders, invest in military)
2. Ensure Energy independent (through internal energy availability and partnerships with other countries)
3. Prepare for Public Health challenges and reduce healthcare costs
4. Invest in workforce development to ensure that US continues to be the technology leader. This requires educational reform, technology training and investment in AI
5. Find effective solutions for Social Security and Medicare, due to aging population and increasing costs
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
US should continue to send aid. However, there should be strong governance and audits to ensure that the funds are used effectively. Also, there should be constant diplomatic effort, along with our allies, to establish peace at the earliest
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
Strong Governance of the Judicial processes is essential in Texas since the Judicial system is the bedrock of a democracy. In order for Texas to continue its growth, businesses and individuals should have the confidence of a fair judicial system. There are many emerging solutions being proposed and discussed, and it is critical that Texas allocates resources to continue focus on the Judicial system

The country needs a candidate that has the vision and the solution for uniting our country. We have many problems facing our country; to be successful we need to be united. The solution is Truth, Accountability and Responsibility. I started this movement some time ago, and I am using this candidacy to bring attention to this problem and solution. Americans need faith in Politicians and Government Officials are telling the truth and not acting on known falsehoods. Accountability is needed to be put in place. It is our everyone’s responsibility to achieve this goal. We need a new agency that is only truth based with no opinions with accountability. It is time for Republicans and Democrats to be given the unbiased truth.

2. The border

Within 2 years have a source of the truth for all Americans with opinion and start reducing the division in this country. I believe we can maintain our conservative ideals and grow the Republican party with the Truth.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?

What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
Immediately we need to enforce the immigration policy we have today. There is little use in reforming a policy if we do not enforce it. Immediately we need to amend the Posse Comitatus Act to allow the US armed forces to help in enforcing the current and/or future immigration laws at the border. We need to build a physical barrier and a barrier base on new technologies to notify and track people that cross the border illegally.
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
Infrastructure in North TX needs to be addressed. Many are fleeing liberal states, if we had Truth Accountability and Responsibility, we would have less liberal states and people would not be fleeing as they are now. Congress needs to act on Truth, Accountability and Responsibility.
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
AI (Artificial Intelligence) will be the key to our military and economical strength. AI is the most powerful technology we have seen. Like in the 60s when we went to the moon, we need to unite and become the supreme leader in AI. With AI Truth, Accountability Responsibility become even more important.
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
yes
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
Secure internet and energy grid, these are two important infrastructures that must be secured. Our daily lives depend on these.

Have you ever been arrested, charged with a crime or otherwise been part of a criminal proceeding? If yes, please explain:
No
Have you been involved in a civil lawsuit or bankruptcy proceeding? If yes, please explain:
No personal or business bankruptcies. Approximately 30 years ago, I was involved in some civil lawsuits which were all dismissed with no payments made by myself.
Who are your top three campaign contributors?
Arvind Mailk, a private equity manager; Charles Parker, an investment manager and real estate entrepreneur; and myself
Why are you seeking this office?
Enforcing the rule of law is paramount to me. It is the very foundation of protecting the citizenry from enemies at home and abroad. I spent much of my professional career in private practice as an advocate for children, and I was elected four times by the Republicans of Denton County to serve as their District Judge. The Lord has blessed me with a sharp mind and the courage to stand up for what is right. Now, I want to use my depth and breadth of life experience to preserve, protect, and defend our American Dream for future generations. That alone is why I’m running for Congress.
What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 26?
The dangers posed to Texans from drugs and human trafficking are not limited to border towns. The danger is right here in Denton, Cooke, and Wise Counties. For 15 years as a District Judge in Denton County, much of my case load was family law cases, and some of them involved trafficked children and children and infants exposed to drugs. I worked with the Children’s Advocacy Center and CASA and saw the impacts there as well. It’s easy for candidates to use these children as a political talking point to win votes, but the first time a trafficked child, or an infant exposed to drugs appears before you in court, it becomes very, very real. When I say that border security is a priority to me and that stopping the easy movement of people and narcotics back-and-forth across the border is mission critical, I see faces of real children who have been through hell and back. We must secure the border.
If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
Finishing the wall, defending the Texas oil and gas industry from overregulation, and cutting wasteful government spending are three big priorities for me, but every issue flows from enforcing the rule of law. In doing so, we protect the liberty of the individual. We have a thoughtfully designed system of government and its survival depends on having people of integrity in leadership positions to protect it from abuse. Right now I believe our system of government is being undermined. The justice system has been weaponized to attack political enemies, and the rule of law is being trampled on. The political class is playing a dangerous game with the country our children will inherit, and that must change.
How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?
The success or failure of any of us, whether or not we serve in Congress, is the legacy we leave behind for the next generation. Right now, we have a bunch of do-nothing congressmen who are failing to do their most basic jobs. They are more worried about getting re-elected than doing the work of the people, enforcing the rule of law, and standing up for the values that made this nation great. I’m not a kid. I’m not looking to be a Congressman as a career. I’ve lived my American Dream. Now, I’m looking to go up to Washington, fight like the devil starting on Day 1, be as effective as I can be for a few years, and then pass the baton to someone else who will do the same thing when my time is done. I will consider my time in Congress a success if I fought the good fight for my constituents and delivered results that will really matter to the next generation.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
Over 80% of the voters in this district were my constituents until I stepped down from the bench at the end of last year to run for this seat in Congress. I served for 15 years in that judicial post defending the Constitution and protecting abused and neglected children. Outside the courtroom, I’ve been an active member of this community through civic involvement, church involvement, and professional involvement since 1987 when my wife and I decided to make our home here. With all due respect to my opponents, most of them are not from here. Many of them do not even live in one of the counties of our district, and those who do either moved here recently or had no real civic, community or political involvement until declaring their candidacies a few weeks ago. I know the folks of this district. They are my neighbors, and together we have spent the better part of the last 40 years working to leave this community in a better place than we found it for our children and grandchildren.
What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
Obviously we need to do more to physically secure the southern border. But ultimately border security is about more than just walls. It’s also about eliminating the incentives and government assistance that serve as a magnet and encourage illegal immigration in the first place. I believe that anyone who is here illegally should never be allowed to receive public assistance – period. I do not want to deny entry to legal immigrants. All of our families originated from somewhere else before arriving to the U.S. seeking opportunity or fleeing persecution. However, this has become a national security crisis, a public safety crisis, and a human crisis. And it must stop.
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
Congress should make certain that there is adequate funding for infrastructure such as highways and water resources in the North Texas area.
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
Border security needs to be at the top of the list. This would include border wall funding, but also funding for more manpower and technology on the ground. And while this is not a funding-related item, we must figure out how to lower interest rates and get inflation under control. The cost of living increase in recent years is robbing people of their savings and their retirements.
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
Jefferson advised us to have ‘Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations and entangling alliances with none.’ That said, when it comes to issues of our sovereignty and national security, we must remain vigilant and maintain an impenetrable national defense. In the modern world, where a national security threat can be on the other side of the planet, we must not hesitate to defend ourselves. As the only democracy in the Middle East, support for Israel is linked to our own national security. Further, we must honor the agreements we make with other nations if we are to remain credible on the world stage. In 1994, we guaranteed Ukraine’s sovereignty in exchange for the dismantling of their nuclear arsenal. Continuing to honor that agreement, while ensuring the resources don’t go to line the pockets of corrupt politicians, is also an important modern-day national security issue. Ukraine also provides an important buffer between Russia and NATO countries.
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
It is not an issue specific to Texas, but I believe that eliminating earmarks is vital. Earmarks are just a legislative parlor trick that allows individual members of Congress to mandate spending on specific projects, which often – but not always – benefit their cronies or some special interest. Our founders opposed the practice and rightly believed they would lead to abuse – and they have. They were actually banned a little over a decade ago when Republicans took control of the House, but then the Democrats brought them back during COVID. There is precedent here for banning earmarks. I think it’s just a question of electing members of Congress with the political will to do it again, and I would be one of those members.

No

Who are your top three campaign contributors?
Mark Rutledge
Why are you seeking this office?
I have always lobbied legislators on behave of the construction industries and becoming a representative will be a natural step for me.
What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 26?
Get our country focus on a world that is going to be multipolar. Every country in this world wants to be Great. Thus you see the rise of China, Russia, South America, Africa and the biggest trending organization BRICS. We as a district need students and citizens receptive to change and be less divisive.
If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?
1. Cut back on foreign interventions
2. Get the American Economy of sound footing
3. Education Excellence. US education rankings are falling behind the rest of the world.
How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?
Paying attention to your Districts needs. The people will always be the judge of your success. The only thing I will bring is honesty and integrity.
Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?
My little bit of experience as a School Board member (NO Pay) and my success as a Mechanical Contractor (Meeting a payroll) has allow me to fully understand the dynamic on what it takes on the public and private side of the political equation.
What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?
Complete the WALL. A large influx of immigrant headed to the US is from South America and Cuba. President Obrador (Mexico President) suggested that we provide economic aid and undo sanctions on countries like Cuba and Venezuela. Why? Because the hardship of sanction causes the people in those countries to seek asylum in the good old USA. Making that journey through Mexico and into our great state. Remember they are not stopping in Mexico they are coming to the land of milk and honey. If there country was economically strong they would more likely stay and be productive citizen in there own land.
What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?
Provide a power grid that’s strong and reliable, fresh water, transportation system second to none and an elite educational system
What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?
Our seniors depend on Medicare and Medicaid. Finding a way to keep them solvent would be a priority.
Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?
Not at the moment. For Israel a two state solution is all that’s needed now. Palestinians have urged the expansion of settlement in the occupied territory to stop but to no avail. This is maddening to them and the next thing you see is a terrorist event. The cycle must stop. Two state solution or BUST.
For Ukraine would we be in this situation if the Minsk Agreement were implemented. An agreement worked on by Ukraine, Russia & OSCE and mediated by Germany and France. It appears is was not worth the paper it was printed on and here we are. Ukraine about to loss more than the agreement was offering. Loss of lives and treasure. Sickening
What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?
Water. Of course its at the center of economic and social development; it is vital to maintain health, grow food, manage the environment, and create jobs. Solution that come to mind an addition lake or two, a few Desalination plants on the gulf coast or T Boone Pickens favorite piping water from the Ogallala Aquifer to a city in need.
