I’m proud to be your Chairman of the House Small Business Committee. As Chairman and one of the only small business owners in Congress, I am able to set a conservative, principled driven agenda for the committee. Our committee works to reduce Biden’s regulations and we work to hold this administration accountable for targeting American businesses and wasting tax payer resources. Under Joe Biden’s regime, our American economy has become woke and broke! I am proud to author legislation that began right here in North Texas called the Jumpstart America Plan. We were able to put that plan in the comprehensive tax reform under President Trump, however, Biden is bound and determined to destroy these policies that benefit every taxpaying American.

Why are you seeking this office?

It’s an honor to represent Texas’ 25th Congressional District and I look forward to continuing to work with all the great people of this district in 2024 and beyond.

I am proud to have a lifetime America Conservative Union (CPAC) rating of over 90% and honored to once again be endorsed by President Donald Trump!

What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 25?

I know we have all heard it said before, but 2024 is the most important election of our lifetimes. The biggest challenges facing our district and our country are Joe Biden’s desire for open borders and amnesty for those who have broken our laws; communist, woke economic policies choking our small business owners and democrat attacks on the America family. 2024 must be the year that we retake our country from the woke, communist party of Joe Biden and make America Great Again!

If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?

Secure our borders, make tax cuts permanent, cut wasteful regulations that are harming small business owners.

How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?

I am humbled to serve Texas’ 25th District. I look forward to working with the people of this district in 2024 and beyond.

Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?

I am a small business owner who understands how to create jobs and how government overreach hurts small business owners, communities and families. We need an American Economy that is booming, we need to make the Trump tax cuts permanent, we need to get rid of Joe Biden’s woke, job killing regulations, we need to secure our borders and reclaim our national sovereignty, we need to drill baby drill, we need to restore law and order, we need a military focused on winning battles and not LGBTQ recruiting, we need a president that ends wars and not drags us in to endless wars!

What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?

I have fought tooth and nail to secure our border. Every day I am pushing back on attempts by Biden to tear down the wall, permanently open our borders and giving amnesty to millions and millions of illegals. From my first day in Congress, I have fought to protect Americans from illegal immigration, starting by opposing the Obama era amnesty program and voting to provide over $5 billion dollars to build a border wall. I have led 7 bills this Congress to support border security, restrict asylum, and protect Texas from the migrant crisis. I am the author of the Remain in Mexico Bill that that would make permanent the Trump era policy requiring asylum seekers to wait for their court date in Mexico. I am co-author of the most comprehensive and consequential border plan in our nation’s history, H.R. 2, the Secure Our Border Act, which has passed the House and would restart the border wall construction, end dangerous catch and release and includes my Remain in Mexico bill.

What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?

Secure our borders, make tax cuts permanent, reduce regulation on small business owners.

What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?

Secure our borders, make tax cuts permanent, reduce regulation on small business owners.

Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?

The United State must always stand with Israel! I have made it clear, I will not vote for any funding for Ukraine or any nonsense CR or other funding trick, authored by a democrat OR a republican, until we secure our border first!

What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?

I recently introduced the STOP Act, that gives Texas the authority to secure our borders, protect the lives of Texans and reimburses Texas for any state tax dollars spent on border security. The federal government can either take responsibility for the crisis at our southern border or get out of the way.

I have door knocked for conservative candidates from the national level to the local level.

I campaigned against outrageous bond packages in Godley, Joshua, and elsewhere.

I’ve been down to Austin to advocate for bills a handful of times, most recently with the Jack and Young County Republican Parties to push for Tucker’s Law.

I staged a protest against property tax increases in Burleson.

I authored the Congressional Pledge to Fight Human Trafficking that has been signed by dozens of candidates across the country.

Who are your top three campaign contributors?

Matthew Lucci (Candidate), Stephen Swain (Campaign Treasurer), Sean Goins (Campaign Manager)

Why are you seeking this office?

In the last 12 years, our current congressman has only passed one bill into law - renaming a post office. In the same time, fentanyl overdose deaths have reached an all-time high and human trafficking is more prevalent than ever. It’s harder to put food on our tables, gas in our tanks, and roofs over our heads than ever before. Nothing is going to change unless we step up and take our country back from the corrupt Establishment that doesn’t care about the rest of us. After praying with my wife, my family, and my church family, we decided that God had put this on my heart, and we dove headfirst into this race.

What are the biggest challenges facing Congressional District 25?

Border Security, Drug Trafficking, Human Trafficking, and the Economy.

If elected, what would your top 3 policy priorities be?

Securing the Border, Fighting Against Inflation (including massive Government spending), and Protecting Innocent Life

How will you measure your success as a U.S. Representative?

My success as a U.S. Representative will be measured by keeping my word, and how well that I represent the conservative values of our district.

Why should voters choose you over your opponent(s)?

Voters should choose me over my opponents because I’m a dedicated fighter for our conservative values, and I want to be held accountable. Have faith for one election cycle, and if I don’t do everything that I say that I will do, or fight for everything that I say that I will fight for, then vote me out. The way that things have been going isn’t working for us, and it’s time to take our country back.

What should Congress do to address immigration and border security at the Texas-Mexico border?

1) Build the Wall, 2) Reinstitute the Remain in Mexico Policy, 3) End Catch and Release

What should Congress do to respond to and prepare for population growth in North Texas?

Build up more job training programs in North Texas, and invest in critical infrastructure to sustain the population growth in our own backyard.

What should be the top federal funding priorities for Congress and why?

Securing our border and funding the military are the top federal funding priorities, because the Federal Government is constitutionally mandated to protect our nation.

Should the U.S. send additional foreign aid to Israel and Ukraine?

The United States should uphold its promises to our allies, and stay out of prolonged wars that we have no business fighting in. We should not send another dime to Ukraine, and should work on rebuilding our stockpiles, so that we can defend ourselves.

What’s a Texas policy issue that’s important to you, but not necessarily as high profile? Why do you think it’s important?

Property taxes have skyrocketed in Texas, making it harder for folks to buy a home and stay in that home. I would like to see property taxes eliminated in Texas.
