What is the most important distinction between you and your opponent(s)?
There are many areas of law which affects probate. As a practicing attorney for the last twenty years, I have a long history of working on complicated cases in different areas of law, including probate. Further the judiciary needs a person that will follow the law, rule decisively and demonstrates fairness and impartiality. According to the judicial poll taken by the Tarrant County Bar Association, my opponent is one of the lowest ranking judges when it comes to these issues. I served as an administrative law judge in the past and I understand the needs of the people.
What are the three biggest issues in this race?
I believe this is an important race because it is time to keep politics out of the court room and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and gets their day in court. COVID created a backlog for all courts, the goal would be to get the backlog under control.
