Who are your top three campaign contributors? Alvin Rodgers Jr., Susie Masyada; Steve Masyada

Why are you seeking this office? International embarrassments where we fail as leaders of the free world, misguided economic policies putting us closer to financial ruin, and regularly infringed liberties are all hallmarks of the Biden Administration. Our children are watching us trade their American dream for a destitute nightmare. We need leaders who will fight to ensure our children grow up in an America whose freedom is still the envy of the world and ensures all citizens an equal opportunity at prosperity. We cannot sit idly by as our great country’s national fabric is ripped apart. Our community needs someone who can fight for an active local government, free market economics, and a fiercely defended Constitution to take not only responsibility, but pride in the challenge of working toward a flourishing and more perfect community.

What are the biggest challenges facing your district? Generational poverty that has permanently left 20% of Dallas drowning in poverty. Poor education options for these families in the greatest need stifle any wealth and job creation, while increasing crime and poverty. This leaves whole communities battling to put food on the table and fearing for their safety instead of engaging in their piece of the American Dream. I plan to combat this on three fronts: education by championing competition with an education marketplace, economic equality with Opportunity Zones, and by staunchly advocating for more community freedom to address their needs without oversight from people 1,500 miles away in Washington whose sole knowledge of Dallas is encapsulated in the word Cowboys.

What would your top 3 policy priorities be? 1) We have to rethink our entire education model to allow for more state education independence to innovate and for parents to have the right to choose from a wide array of education options...2) On the heels of President Trump’s First Step addressing prison reform, the GOP has an obligation to enact a Second Step Act to improve funding for law enforcement to retain the existing police force and attract new community hires to serve in traditional and advanced roles to better collaborate with the local community...3) Our community deserves more opportunities at prosperity and this can be done through the expansion of Opportunity Zones to incentivize investment in distressed communities by employing tax breaks for non-gentrifying, long-term funding to create jobs, generate tax revenue, and produce wealth for communities facing generational poverty.

Why should voters choose you over your opponents? Education has become the epicenter for political debate and discussion, and there is a good reason for that phenomenon. Schools help determine how our children think and who they will become. There is a reason our social media and school board meetings are in hot debate about Critical Race Theory, High-Stakes Testing, and the role of parents, among a litany of other divisive topics. Moreover, we cannot reasonably expect to lower Dallas’ 1 in 5 poverty rate, reduce crime, create new community wealth, or address any other societal ill with an ineffective and outdated school system. We need someone who can articulate why our schools aren’t working and how we can make them work to best support students, parents, and the community. My expertise and experience in education combined with my experience in the private sector and as a small-business owner puts me in the unique position to best represent District 30’s interest in helping to empower our community from the ground up.

What should Congress do to combat inflation? The U.S. economy is crashing with President Biden and Speaker Pelosi driving the car. Confronting the highest inflation in 40 years and a rapidly approaching financial cliff of $210 trillion in unfunded liabilities, we must change course immediately. Congress consistently either prints money which serves as a de facto tax on those with the least among us or misappropriates taxpayers’ hard-earned money on programs that, while well-intentioned, perpetuate inequity. As such, the evidence is clear that we need less government involved in the economy. Instead, we must limit burdensome regulations developed by bureaucrats, universally support innovation, and incentive investments in ventures to create wealth in our communities of greatest need. Allowing the individual more freedom to use their money as they see fit will ensure the long term growth of our economy and our country as a whole.

How should the federal government change COVID policy to reflect the omicron variant outbreak? The Biden Administration took the exact wrong approach to the pandemic with unconstitutional mandates and removing barriers of personal responsibility to create a climate where others feel they have a collective right to bully others. I do not believe you engender people to be open-minded about new treatments and information for a continually evolving disease in such a divisive and trying time through force and threats of taking people’s jobs away. The federal government should provide states and citizens with the necessary resources to combat COVID, including the latest research regarding treatments, in an open forum. From there, encourage individuals to rely on their personal healthcare provider to inform any medical decisions. I cannot fathom why anyone would listen to anyone other than their personal doctor about non-emergency medicine and medical procedures.

Should Congress enact a vaccine mandate for workplaces? The Supreme Court has correctly struck down these mandates which have exceeded Constitutional authority. I believe this reiterates that health choices should remain in the hands of the individual as the government has no authority to implement such mandates. This line of thinking would show a disregard for our civil liberties and present a slippery slope to more government intrusion into the individual agency endowed to us in the Constitution.

How should the federal government respond to high levels of illegal immigration? Do you support changes in asylum policy, and if so, how would you alter it? I support comprehensive immigration reform to address our borders, refine the asylum program, and find ways to address, not ignore, the total undocumented population. We should continue to use the Remain in Mexico policy to temporarily stem the flow of immigrants at our southern border until we can create and complete any necessary physical barriers, hire more border personnel, hold a zero tolerance policy for human traffickers, refurbish our ports of entry, and approve new judges to more quickly process asylum claims to ensure our refugee programs remain efficient in helping those in the greatest need. We must concurrently explore continental and international trade policies to curb migration beyond the border, including private investment in The Northern Triangle. Finally, Congress must reform immigration comprehensively to address the status of all illegal immigrants, undocumented residents, and legal residents in need of resolution (ie - Dreamers).

Did Joe Biden win the 2020 election fairly? The 2020 election presented many issues, I do not believe that the conclusion should be in question when we fully consider the facts. There were voting irregularities, but, while important, no data or independent investigation has shown that this rose to a systematic level which impacted the outcome. The greater impact on the fairness of this election came in voting laws being changed through non-standard means (e.g. - Pennsylvania’s State Supreme Court amending voting laws). These changes occurred in mostly Democratic leaning states and data shows an effect on voter turnout which benefitted the Democratic Party. The Supreme Court ruled this legal, however, as states have rights to autonomy. I believe Texas’ sovereignty is far more important than than the outcome of this one election. As such, Joe Biden is the duly elected President of the United States and while we can critique the manner in which the 2020 election was held, we must respect that office.

What voting-rights legislation or other election regulation would you support? While I whole-heartedly disagreed with non-legislative bodies seizing emergency powers as they did during the 2020 election, the Supreme Court, through the powers afforded in our Constitution, ruled in favor of state authority and autonomy. I find it to be the height of hypocrisy that the Democratic party would champion states’ rights to better serve them in the 2020 election, but then actively try to take that power away in the next legislative session. With 2020 in our rearview. I believe that states such as Georgia, Texas, and others have responded accordingly by increasing electorate confidence through voter integrity measures passed at the state level. Alternatively, states like Delaware have attempted to expand voting access. These competing models where states serve as laboratories of democracy will allow for the continuous refinement of voting rights and all other processes.

Why are you seeking this office? I seek this office because it affords me the opportunity to do what I do best: HELP PEOPLE. I ‘m the voice that the people need. I named my son , an only child, Champion “ Congressman “ Jones . Little did I know that in naming him , I would set a mindset not only in him, but me. His name inspired me to run for congress. I was told my life story would end great, so I asked “ what is great”.? Too many lawyers in congress and not enough everyday people. I’m everyday people so I’ll work hard for 30. I seek this office because Kinya For Congress cares.

What should Congress do to combat inflation? Look at what is causing it then work on policy to counteract

How should the federal government change COVID policy to reflect the omicron variant outbreak?: It is too new that can be decided as we get more data bur meanwhile we can encourage people to utilize safe guards in place and educate on how to build up natural immune system.

Should Congress enact a vaccine mandate for workplaces? No. Congress should especially not because it is a constitutional violation to force free people to do anything

How should the federal government respond to high levels of illegal immigration? Do you support changes in asylum policy, and if so, how would you alter it? The President needs to announce that that our boarders are closed and make international announcement that the USA are not accepting immigrants for an indefinite time frame. Those at boarders need to be assisted with getting back to their homelands via collaborative efforts with international aid organizations. Food and other aid and if necessary, safe passage back to homelands should be given. We can not take care of the whole world and open ourselves to disease and foreign invasion. Asylum should be just that, asylum for extreme life and death situations.

Did Joe Biden win the 2020 election fairly? I really do not now because i personally was not involved in the vote counts in the various states yet I find it amazing that so many turned out to vote in covid times. There is always room where cheating can occur. The voting system needs to be changed.and updated to the 21st century

What voting-rights legislation or other election regulation would you support? There needs to be uniform federal laws for ballot access for federal elections and fed gov needs to hold states accountable to constitutional violations relating to ballot access and voting rights. Election should be free, fair and accessible
