White Settlement mayor loses runoff
Voters cast ballots in three Tarrant County cities Tuesday in runoff or special elections.
Returns are complete but unofficial.
In White Settlement, Mayor Jerry Burns lost a re-election bid in a runoff with Ronald White.
White got 52.38 percent of the vote; Burns got 47.62 percent.
In the City Council Place 1 runoff, Paul Moore won 50.8 percent, and Johnny Powell got 49.2 percent.
In a Keller runoff to fill an unexpired term for City Council Place 2, Armin Mizani won 55.69 percent of the vote to 44.3 percent for Christopher Whatley.
Mizani will serve until the term expires in May.
In Euless, three candidates were running for City Council Place 5, left vacant by the death of Glenn Porterfield in August.
Harry Zimmer prevailed with 50.23 percent. Darl Easton received 37.29 percent, and David Brown got 12.48 percent.
