April 6 is last day to register for Texas’ May elections. How to sign up, check your status
If you haven’t done so yet, Thursday, April 6, is the final day to register to vote in the May elections. It is also the last day a voter can request a change of address in time for Election Day.

Voter registration in Texas is based on your county of residence. By law, voters must register “by the 30th day before Election Day.”
For Fort Worth voters, a slate of municipal positions are on the ballot. There are also a few contests on the ballot for Tarrant County voters to decide.
