Democratic voters were turned away at Fort Worth’s Southwest Sub-Courthouse at 6551 Granbury Road because the voting machines were not working, Democratic chair Allison Campolo said in a text to the Star-Telegram Tuesday afternoon.

Elections administrator Heider Garcia said that as of 1:44 p.m. the machines were back up and running.

As of 1:24 p.m. Tuesday, Campolo said the machines had been down for three hours. Garcia said Tuesday afternoon the down time was nearly an hour and a half. Campolo didn’t know how many voters had been turned away.
