Voters reject Tarrant County bond for a new district attorney’s office
Voters rejected a proposal to build a new Tarrant County district attorney’s office Tuesday, with 54.97% of ballots against the measure, according to unofficial results from all 323 voting centers.
The office has added new units in the past 30 years and outgrown its space. The $116 million bond would have provided a new space for the office.
District Attorney Sharen Wilson wasn’t immediately available for comment late Tuesday.
