Watching the Democratic debate in Texas
Texas Democrats are gearing up to watch their party’s first presidential debate tonight.
Dozens of debate watch parties are scheduled across the state, including a couple in Fort Worth at the Trinity River Tap House, 2725 W. 7th St., and Los Paisanos Restaurante y Taqueria, 1446 Main St., and one in Colleyville at the Londoner Pub, 5150 Colleyville Blvd.
A fourth, specifically for Hillary Clinton supporters, is planned for Fred’s Texas Cafe in Fort Worth’s TCU area, at 3509 Bluebonnet Circle, from 7 to 10 p.m.
The debate in Las Vegas, which will be aired at 7:30 p.m., can be watched on host CNN’s cable channel or website.
Candidates scheduled to be onstage include former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb.
