Bernie Sanders is looking to fill Dickies Arena for the Fort Worth stop of his national tour “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here.”

U.S. Rep. Greg Casar, a Democrat from Austin, and former U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke, a Democrat from El Paso, will join him on stage. The tour focuses on the country’s move toward authoritarianism, according to a press release, highlighting what it says is the takeover of the national government by billionaires and large corporations. The national tour has targeted deep-red districts held by Republicans.

Serving as a pressure campaign, Sanders is aiming to force vulnerable congresspeople to vote against any cuts to Medicaid, housing, nutrition, education and other basic needs to pay for more tax breaks for the richest people in America, the press release says.

The stop in Fort Worth will be at 6 p.m. on June 22 at Dickies Arena, 1911 Montgomery St. with the Old 97’s and MSB Choir as musical guests.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Paid parking is available onsite and in nearby garages. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is encouraged.
