Here’s a list of candidates running in city & school elections in Tarrant County on May 3

It’s election season ... again.

The city of Fort Worth, Tarrant Regional Water District, and school districts across the region are holding elections on May 3.

In Fort Worth, Mayor Pro Tem Gyna Bivens, who has represented District 5 in east Fort Worth since 2013 is stepping aside.

Running to replace her so far are Pastor Michael Moore and water district board member Mary Kelleher.

And in District 6, Jared Williams announced he will not seek a third term in office.

All the other Fort Worth council races will have incumbents running for re-election.

Three seats will be up for election on the water district board.

The filing period runs Jan. 15 through Feb. 14. Here’s who has signed to run so far.
