Property tax bills are being printed as we speak, Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector Wendy Burgess said Thursday afternoon.

Tarrant County homeowners can expect to receive them next week.

If you’re asking, “Shouldn’t I have already received it?” you’re half-right. According to Texas law, property tax bills are required to be sent Oct. 1 of each year “as soon thereafter as practicable,” which is when Tarrant County homeowners annually see their bills.

“Everything is on track just like every other year,” Burgess said. “As you know, Tarrant is a very large county.”

Property owners can pay their bill at a Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector office or through the office’s online payment portal.
