Woman plays lottery on work break and wins huge prize. ‘This isn’t possible’

An Arkansas woman was in disbelief when she won a huge lottery prize on her work break.

The Garland County woman needed a break from work so she decided to play a scratch-off lottery ticket, according to an Oct. 6 news release from the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.

The woman, who plays the lottery twice a week, told lottery officials she likes playing scratch-off games and sometimes plays draw games with co-workers.

She bought a $20 ticket that stuck out to her.

“Sometimes the tickets talk to you,” she told lottery officials. “And it was talking to me that day.”

The woman scratched the $50,000 Frenzy ticket and realized she won the jackpot.

“This isn’t possible,” she thought, lottery officials said.

The woman said this is the largest prize she’s ever won. She plans to save some of the money and use some of it to finish home renovation projects.

As of Oct. 6, there are still 25 top prizes worth $50,000 left in the game.
