A father is accused of killing his 1-month-old son, who was taken to a hospital with a “deformed skull” and multiple broken bones, Oklahoma authorities say.

Tyrice Williams said the baby’s fatal injuries were caused when he was pushed down stairs of a Tulsa apartment while holding the child, according to the Tulsa Police Department.

Video and audio from a doorbell camera refuted his account, police said.

Police said footage showed Williams holding an empty bottle of liquor as he left his apartment Aug. 11. He later entered the apartment alone.

“Audio from the camera captured Williams talking to the infant, followed by seven loud thuds,” according to police.

Officers were called to the apartment, where police said they found the baby in cardiac arrest. After the child was taken to a hospital, doctors determined his injuries were the result of trauma.

“Doctors discovered he had a right femur fracture, right humerus fracture, left clavicle fracture, left broken arm, right pneumothorax, skull fracture and a deformed skull,” police said.

Police said the baby, whose identity was not disclosed, died.

Williams was charged Aug. 12 with murder and arrested without incident, according to police.
