Woman uses numbers from horoscope on lottery — and it pays off big in Maryland
A Maryland woman checks her horoscope every morning, but this time a set of numbers stood out.
She used them on a lottery game and won a big prize.
The lucky lottery player from Laurel was doing her routine of “light stretching, freshening up and checking her daily horoscope,” the Maryland Lottery said in a June 26 news release.
That day, her horoscope included a set of five numbers: 25569.
She told lottery officials she had a gut feeling she needed to use them on a lottery game, so she bought a Pick 5 ticket.
Trusting her instincts paid off in a big way when she saw her $50,000 prize.
The retiree went with her husband to the lottery office to claim her prize and the two “radiated joy,” the lottery office said.
The woman said she has plans to save her money and “be responsible with it.”
“I’m manifesting $1 million. And you better believe I’ll be back to claim a bigger prize!” she said.
Laurel is about a 20-mile drive southwest from Baltimore.
