A 79-year-old man was sent a form by a medical office with instructions to fill it out and return it, but he sent a photo of child pornography back to the office instead, Pennsylvania officials said.

Barry Sussmann was charged with sexual abuse of children — child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility, according to an affidavit of probable cause filed on April 2.

His attorney information was not listed.

Investigators found approximately 100 images of child pornography on the man’s computer at his Ambler home following the March 19 incident, the affidavit said.

He told police he had been downloading the images for over 20 years, court documents said. Officers also found DVDs of pornographic material of children in the home, Abington police said.

Sussmann is a former middle school and high school teacher who also coached, the affidavit said.

Ambler is about a 25-mile drive northwest from Philadelphia.
