A Pennsylvania mother threatened to kill her 8-year-old child while livestreaming, authorities said.

The Aliquippa Police Department received “multiple calls” Feb. 17 about a woman on Facebook Live making “very specific threats” to harm and kill her disabled son, according to a news release from authorities.

Police did not share exactly what the woman said.

McClatchy News is not naming the woman to protect the identity of her son.

After reviewing the video, officers went to the 42-year-old woman’s house but she refused to open her door, police said.

Officers forced entry into the home which they said was in “deplorable” condition and arrested the woman without incident, police said.

The boy was placed in the care of his grandmother, authorities said.

The mother is charged with endangering the welfare of children, terroristic threats, and obstruction, court records show.

Her bail was set at $15,000. She is due in court for a preliminary hearing Feb. 28, according to court records.

Aliquippa is about a 25-mile drive northwest from Pittsburgh.
