Blue Bell launches flavor inspired by a ‘sweet morning treat.’ When can you get it?
Blue Bell is giving the green light to indulge in dessert — for breakfast.
Its new flavor, Strawberry Toaster Pastry, was inspired by the “sweet morning treat” and available by the pint as of Thursday, Jan. 23, according to the Texas-based creamery.
Made with vanilla ice cream, the breakfast-dessert mashup includes strawberry pastry pieces, confetti sprinkles and “swirls of strawberry sauce and white icing,” a product description reads.
Dessert lovers can find it in the freezer aisle at stores nationwide, just in time for National Ice Cream for Breakfast Day (Feb. 1), Blue Bell said in a news release.
Pricing information wasn’t immediately available.
“Our new Strawberry Toaster Pasty will wake up your taste buds,” Joe Robertson, executive director of advertising and marketing for Blue Bell, said of the limited-time flavor. “We have combined so many delicious flavors in a pint-sized carton.”
The brand’s Tin Roof Ice Cream, made with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sundae sauce and dark chocolate-coated peanuts, is now available in a half-gallon carton, Blue Bell said.
