Two men attempting to cross under a railroad bridge on a boat crashed into a pillar and were ejected into a lake, Oklahoma troopers said.

Emergency responders arrived on Dec. 27 at the bridge over Lake Texoma near Kingston and found the boat, but could not find 70-year-old Danny Glenn and 73-year-old Leslie Glenn, according to the crash report. Investigators say the crash happened at about 6 p.m.

Officials did not disclose the boaters’ relationship.

Following a two day search, the missing boaters’ bodies were pulled from the lake ”near the accident scene,” troopers said.

The pair was traveling in a 20-foot Skeeter fishing boat when they crashed, according to the a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol. The weather conditions were clear.

Officials said the two had personal flotation devices, but they were not in use.

Kingston is about a 130-mile drive southeast from Oklahoma City.
