Sweet dog was saved from cruel dog-fighting ring years ago. She still needs a home
A dog in Philadelphia has been waiting patiently for years to live out the rest of her life under the love and care of a family after suffering serious neglect.
Three years ago in November 2021, 33 dogs were rescued from a dog-fighting ring, and this sweet pit-bull mix was one of them, the Pennsylvania SPCA said in a Nov. 25 Facebook post.
“Affectionately known as the #Thanksgiving33, they quickly won over all of our hearts. And while many have found their forever homes, four are still waiting — one of them being Kculli,” the shelter said.
“If you ask any of Kculli’s friends about her, you’ll hear about how incredibly sweet she is. She adores her people and cherishes every moment spent with them. She’s the perfect couch potato, always ready to curl up and lounge around, soaking up all the love and comfort she never received in her past.”
/Despite the three long years without a place of her own, Kculli is still filled with loyalty and a lot of love to give.
“Kculli has so much potential to bring joy and so much love to a home, but she needs a family who will be patient, understanding, and give her the time she needs to feel truly safe,” the shelter said. “She is open to meeting dog-savvy kids and would like to be the only pet in the home.”
According to her pet profile, Kculli’s age is unknown, but she has a genuinely playful spirit as she continues “to overcome her past traumas.”
