A man was stabbed by his co-worker after the two got into a fight at a bowling alley, New Jersey police said.

The 25-year-old man from Newark was found seriously injured outside the business, according to a statement by the Linden Police Department.

The 25-year-old had gotten into an argument with his co-worker, later identified as Easkon Walker, 44, officers said.

The argument escalated, and Walker pulled out a knife and stabbed the 25-year-old repeatedly, then fled, police said.

The 25-year-old was taken to the Newark University Hospital, officers said.

Walker, who hasn’t been found, was charged with third-degree aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and other weapons-related charges, police said.

Anyone with information about the crime or Walker’s whereabouts is asked to call 908-474-8530, police said.

Linden is about a 10-mile drive southwest from Newark.
