A gambler from Hawaii tried their luck at a Las Vegas casino and ended up winning a life-changing prize.

Now, they are $891,775.72 richer.

The anonymous player sat at a “Wheel of Fortune” slot machine on Aug. 6 at the California Hotel & Casino, the hotel said in a Facebook post.

They wagered $1.75, hit the spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.

The player “triggered” a bonus, which landed them the jackpot, the hotel said.

Another player from Hawaii won $1.5 million from the same game in June, the hotel said.

The California Hotel & Casino is in downtown Las Vegas near the Fremont Street Experience.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.
