An “anxious” pup needs to get out of a shelter and into a foster home quickly, a Wisconsin shelter said.

Bella Bean lost her family of eight years because they could no longer have the dog where they live. She was rehomed, but then surrendered to Oshkosh Area Humane Society.

Bella Bean is “by far one of the worst cases we’ve seen as far as stress,” the shelter said. “When she came in she cried nonstop, wouldn’t eat and refused to go back in the kennel after her walk.”

The shelter hopes that a foster home would be a better environment for her, according to a March 12 Facebook post.

“She wants her family and her home back- the only family she’s ever known,” the shelter said in the post. “Unfortunately we can’t give her that but we hope she can start anew and learn to love again,”

She loves her people and has been around kids over the age of 7, the shelter said. They’re also looking for a pet-free home due to Bella Bean’s anxiety.

Oshkosh is about a 90-mile drive northwest from Milwaukee.
