Casino worker robbed and held at gunpoint after she’s followed home, Washington cops say
A casino worker was followed to her Washington home by a group of people, held at gunpoint and robbed, police said.
The female worker was leaving a casino in Bryn Mawr-Skyway on Feb. 6, the Bellevue Police Department said in a news release.
Once she got to her apartment in Bellevue at about 4:43 a.m., five people broke in, police said.
The five held her at gunpoint as they stole “several items,” police said. It’s not clear what they took.
The woman wasn’t injured during the robbery, police told McClatchy News.
However, police said similar robberies have happened in the region, including in Seattle and Issaquah.
Police did not say if the home intruders have been arrested.
Bryn Mawr-Skyway is about 10 miles southwest of Bellevue, which is about 10 miles east of Seattle.
