In his newest part, Schneider delivered laughs and chicken to delight fans and promote his film, “Daddy Daughter Trip,” in a surprise appearance at a Raising Cane’s in Phoenix on Wednesday, Sept. 21, according to a news release from Raising Cane’s.

“Iced lemonade coming up. Iced lemonade coming up,” Schneider says from behind the counter while looking at the customer, not realizing the cup he is filling is overflowing with lemonade, a video from the company shows. “All good … All right. I washed my hands yesterday. We’re all good.”

Shortly after, Schneider asks the customer the usual, “For here or to go?”

“To go,” a customer replies.

“I was afraid of that,” Schneider says.

Schneider’s film, shot throughout Arizona, features Raising Cane’s in a few scenes, including one with a cameo from the chain’s founder and co-CEO Todd Graves, according to the news release.

“I love Phoenix and love Raising Cane’s. We had a blast today surprising Valley of the Sun Raising Cane’s Caniacs in the drive thru,” Schneider said in the news release.

As he walked through the restaurant’s doors, Schneider offered a three-word synopsis of the film, a video shows.

“It’s about: Daddy. Daughter. Trip. It’s real easy,” Schneider laughs.

The new film, starring Schneider, Jackie Sandler, John Cleese, Elle King and more, delves into the story of a second-grade girl who longs to take a noteworthy spring break trip, the news release said. To her dismay, her family can’t afford such a luxury.

Nonetheless, “with just coins in their pockets,” the girl’s father, played by Schneider, “takes her anyway,” according to the news release.

“Just when all seems lost, they run into a pair of travel bloggers and end up having the best spring break of their lives,” the news release said.

The film’s world premiere will be at Camelview at Fashion Square in Scottsdale on Sept. 27, the release said. The movie will open to the public on Sept. 30 exclusively at Harkins Theaters in Arizona.
