More than 400,000 fans have purchased tickets for Garth Brooks’ concerts this September in Ireland, but the country music superstar made time for a few dozen more as he surprised them at a local pub.

Footage shared by Dick Mack’s Pub in Kerry, Ireland, shows Brooks interacting with patrons before singing one of his all-time hits. Brooks sold out all five of his Dublin tour dates, with three of his five shows already in the books.

As he awaits his next show on Friday, Sept. 16, he stopped by the pub and performed an acoustic version of “If Tomorrow Never Comes.”

“Having a pint, sharing stories and singing a song! What it’s all about,” the pub said in an Instagram post.

Brooks also performed Billy Joel’s signature hit “Piano Man,” which the crowd helped him sing.

One fan joked on Twitter that Brooks is “a bit hoarse from the three gigs” he has already performed in Ireland.

Brooks later gifted the pub one of his iconic baseball caps, according to local publication The Kerryman.
