Neighbors who heard a woman yell for help rushed to the home and found the man she lived with strangling her, Arizona officials said.

As the two neighbors yelled at him, Justin James Jarvy, 33, refused to get off the woman, Michelle Bock-Caswell, 32, at the home in Yucca on Saturday, Sept. 3, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.

One of the neighbors injured Jarvy, fighting to keep him away from Bock-Caswell, who was unresponsive, officials said. Jarvy then threatened the neighbors, who live on the property in a separate home.

Deputies arrived in response to a domestic violence call, and medical personnel confirmed Bock-Caswell was dead, the post said. Deputies also found Jarvy, who was injured, along with the two neighbors.

After he was taken to the hospital for his injuries, Jarvy was arrested and is facing a murder charge, officials said.
