Body of man missing for months found in Las Vegas car trunk, officials say
A body found earlier this month in a car trunk in Las Vegas has been identified as a man missing for months, Nevada officials told news outlets.
Amir Haggi died of “gunshot wounds to the head,” the Clark County Coroner’s Office told KTNV.
Haggi went missing in Phoenix in June, AZ Family reported.
Las Vegas police responded to reports of a “foul odor” coming from a suspicious vehicle about 1:45 p.m. Aug. 19, McClatchy News reported..
They opened the trunk and discovered the decomposing body of a man. He appeared to have been dead for several months.
The body was found in a white BMW parked outside an apartment complex just west of the Las Vegas Strip, police said.
