A fight between two men at a business in Utah left one shot and another behind bars, police said.

A 27-year-old man was found with a minor gunshot wound to his leg when police arrived around 7:30 p.m. May 23 at a business on West Professional Circle, according to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department.

The two men had an argument, and one shot several rounds from a handgun, police said. At least one bullet hit the victim in the leg, and all four tires in the victim’s vehicle were shot out, police said.

A police booking affidavit says that the suspect, Esekielu Tuigamala, 46, was the “victim’s direct supervisor” at RLS Logistics, KSL reported.

“During that argument, (the suspect) can be seen on surveillance video walking to his vehicle and retrieving a firearm. (He) then attempted to go back into the business with the firearm in his hand, but someone had locked the door,” the affidavit obtained by KSL read.

That’s when the suspect turned to shoot the victim’s four tires and fired at him when he unlocked the door, KSL reported.

Officers began searching the area for Tuigamala, who turned himself in to the police department at 9:30 p.m., according to the release.

Tuigamala was booked into Salt Lake County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, felony discharge of a firearm and criminal mischief, according to the release.
