The Crescent House, a chic estate featured in HBO’s ‘Westworld,’ lists in California
A remarkable estate designed by esteemed architect Wallace E. Cunningham has landed on the real estate market in Encinitas, California, for $23.5 million.
The Crescent House, a home named after the very moon that inspired its design, is a four-bedroom, six-bathroom dazzler that combines “ultimate luxury and coastal indoor/outdoor living” the property description says.
The 6,329-square-foot house was featured on the season three premiere of HBO’s hit series “Westworld,” a news release says.
Standing out is the estate’s creative crescent moon shaped infinity pool, curved walls and tiered design that gives off a highly original, yet elegant, feel.

“This house happens to be upside down with all of the principal rooms located on the top level. The intention was to create a path to the top without realizing you’re actually ascending,” Cunningham said of the home in a news release.
“The design is not based on a preconceived idea, it’s really a journey and collection of information. It’s a sculpture of movement, space, and light that acts on your senses and emotions.”
Cunningham’s work has been recognized by Architectural Digest and he is also the mastermind behind San Diego’s Razor House, which is currently owned by Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz — a property that is said to be the inspiration behind Tony Stark’s house in “Iron Man.”
“This house is not just living in a home, it’s living in an experience. You are living in a piece of art, in a genius’ mind,” owner Eileen Quinn said of the Crescent House and its maker.
“Most homes have one or two great views. In this house, everywhere you turn, every place you sit has a view that has been exploited by the architect to be as big and beautiful and as private as it can be.”
The listing is held by Kelly Howard and Lisa Waltman of Compass.
