Woman cuts chin of Dollar General employee and steals cash, Pennsylvania cops say
Pennsylvania police are looking for a woman and man accused of using a knife to jab a Dollar General employee and stealing cash during a robbery.
On the evening of Feb. 23, a Philadelphia Dollar General employee was working when a man came to the register and “pretended” to buy gum, a news release from police said.
A female companion went behind the register and pushed the worker while holding a pocket knife with the blade open, police said.
According to police, the woman “poked” the employee in the chin with the pocket knife, causing aminor cut. She then pushed over displays, and made the worker open the Dollar General safe.
After the safe was opened, the man and woman escaped the store with $1,600, the news release said.
