Zillow Gone Wild is loving the ‘fancy’ item in the bathroom of Illinois house for sale
A house for sale in Long Grove, Illinois, has managed to mystify a popular social media page thanks to a fancy feature in one of the bathrooms.
The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home, listed for $799,000 on Zillow.com, has a plethora of different interior styles going on, one of which includes a rather regal gold toilet in one of the bathrooms.
Of course, there are other interesting features inside the 4,239-square-foot residence, including:
Open floor plan
Newer kitchen appliances
Sunroom with vaulted ceiling
Wrap-around deck
Fireplace in primary bedroom
Walk-out basement
But back to that sparkling john.
Even though the photo doesn’t show the entire toilet, that didn’t stop Zillow Gone Wild from producing gold of its own by going all-in with the jokes that took aim at both the bathroom and the different styles seemingly happening in each room.
“No kids in that house! The floors and furniture are all ... (too) fancy!” one person exclaimed.
“There’s a Lexus dealer near the Oakland airport that has a black marble/gold toilet combo,” another compared. “Fly in, pee, and then fly out.”
“I’m disappointed this realtor didn’t take a better picture of the golden toilet,” one person observed.
“All that opulence and they couldn’t remove the fridge magnets,” another joked.
“This house is super confused on what style they are going for,” someone said.
“I’m waiting for the pink dining room chairs to become animated and breakout into ‘Be Our Guest’ from ‘Beauty and the Beast,’” another remarked.
“Interesting mix of furnishings and centuries to say the least,” one person commented.
“Glad I’m not the only one who really wanted to see the toilet,” another said.
“I’ve always wanted a gold commode!” one person exclaimed.
“Owner to decorator - ‘I’d like a French Victorian cowboy modern gaudy sterile look with spots of pink themed spaces, please,’” another joked.
“This house has an identity crisis,” one person commented.
“They divorced because she wanted gaudy and he wanted modern,” another said. “Irreconcilable differences.”
“When your style is Louis XIV Baroque Chanel Greco Roman but you just cannot give up the old Lazy Boy...” someone joked.

Long Grove is about 35 miles northwest of Chicago.
