Fairy-tale estate on market for $17 million in Canada is also functional. Take a look
A remarkable property with downright stunning views of Pemberton Icecap Glacier that has listed in Canada is more than just a pretty face with a charming, fairy-tale like style — it’s also highly functional.
And available for $16.9 million in Whistler, British Columbia.
At first glance, the estate, which consists of a main 2,764-square-foot residence, looks like something straight out of a “Sound of Music” outtake, with its dramatic, sweeping mountain and valley views against the azure sky.
But, you know, in Canada, not Austria.
There is another purpose to the 75-acre property: it includes over 8,000 square feet of food production facilities as well as greenhouses that total 20,000 square feet, the listing on Realtor.ca says.
“Find space here — to play, to earn, or just breathe,” the listing says for the property.
The main house itself has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and consists of “old-world charm” and elegant finishes at every turn. From the hardwood floors on the first floor, to the high ceilings that mark the second floor, to the views that glimmer in through the windows, the house belongs on the cover of a magazine.
There is even a gym on the property, according to the images.
“Zoning permits further greenhouse expansion and farming of vacant fallow acreage,” the listing says.
Whistler is about 75 miles northeast of Vancouver, Canada.
