A man was arrested after making a bomb threat to jump the line at a Doja Cat concert in Indianapolis, police said.

Fans were waiting in line on Jan. 8 for a free concert from the “Kiss Me More” singer as part of the College Football Playoff’s free concert series.

A man waiting in line told those around him he had a bomb in order to gain faster entry to the free concert at Monument Circle, Indianapolis police told the Indy Star.

“A fan wanted to advance in line so he exercised very poor judgment and told those around him in line he had a bomb in his backpack,” Deputy Chief Joshua Barker with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department told the Star. “Someone did the right thing and alerted IMPD.”

Police said in a news release that the backpack did not contain any explosives, and there was no active threat to the community.

However, the man had “unrelated outstanding warrants,” police said, and was arrested.

The concert and activities for the night continued as planned as part of the buildup to the Monday, Jan.. 10 CFP’s National Championship game between Alabama and Georgia.
