Colton Underwood puts his own ‘Bachelor’ pad up for sale in Colorado. Take a look
A former contestant on ABC’s hit reality show “The Bachelor” has put his own bachelor pad on the market in Castle Pines, Colorado.
Colton Underwood, who starred in season 14 of “The Bachelorette” before moving on to be the lead in season 23 of “The Bachelor,” listed the chic 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home for $1.35 million.
The former NFL player — and first-ever lead of a season on “The Bachelor” to come out as gay — only owned the home for a matter of months, Realtor.com reported. He bought it in February for $889,990.
The 7,667-square-foot beauty sits in a prestigious community and has a ranch floor plan with a lower level that is an “entertainer’s dream,” the listing on Realtor says.
The home has a new exterior and major upgrades as well.
Standout features of the home include:
Gourmet kitchen
Outdoor retreat
2.5 car tandem garage
Primary bathroom with a 5-piece bath
Wine wall
Home gym
Slate surround fireplace
220V electric charging station in garage
It was announced earlier this year that Underwood will be getting his own reality show on Netflix after he came out as gay in an interview that aired on “Good Morning America.”
In the interview, he apologized to Cassie Randolph, his ex-girlfriend and winner of his season of “The Bachelor,” who in Sept. 2020 was granted a temporary restraining order against Underwood that was dropped two months later, according to records obtained by People magazine. She accused Underwood of stalking and harassment, including putting a tracking device under her car.
Underwood called it a “wake-up call” that helped spur him to accept his sexuality.
“I’m sorry for the pain and emotional stress I caused,” Underwood said. “I wish it wouldn’t have happened the way it did. I wish that I would have been courageous enough to fix myself before I broke anybody else.”
He also is a former football defensive end who played at Illinois State before being signed by the San Diego Chargers as a free agent in 2014. He played on the practice squad of the Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles, Variety reported.
Underwood’s mother, Donna Underwood, holds the listing.
