Watch country music star Eric Church fulfill cancer survivor’s wish at concert

Having already beaten cancer, Sebastian Dobyns’ father had one more request: take a shot with country music star Eric Church.

The father, whose son captured the moment in a heartfelt TikTok video, got his wish last month at Church’s concert in Denver.

“Just beat CANCER. Do a shot with me?” the dad’s sign wrote. The son said in his post that his father recently beat stage 3 colon cancer.

Church approached the man, whose spot in the crowd was against the stage, and asked for permission to take his sign. The country music star showed the roaring crowd what the sign had written on it, then went back to the elder Dobyns.

The dad had brought with him two mini bottles of whiskey. He and Church then took their shots together as the crowd erupted in applause.

“We were a few feet behind you!” one woman commented on TikTok. “I cried that night when he did this. So awesome!”

“Was there that night! Had goosebumps all over watching this happen,” another commenter said. “Congratulations to your dad!!”
