Regal Colorado chateau for sale has creative way for hot tubbing in snow. Come see
A chateau with breathtaking, panoramic views and a highly creative way of keeping the snow out of your eyes while relaxing in the outdoor hot tub has hit the market in Boulder, Colorado for $4.4 million.
Fair warning, the new owner will need to love climbing stairs.
“Mountaintop estate is ultimate hideaway,” the listing on Realtor.com describes. “Perfect blend of utmost luxury and natural beauty.”
The 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home has an exquisite interior with marble tiled floors, a kitchen that’s a “chef’s dream,” a primary bedroom with a fireplace and a “sumptuous” 6-piece primary bath, the listing says.
Judging by the photos in the listing, the home comes with an abundance of stairs — even in some of the bedrooms.
But the real attraction is the massive patio area, that not only has picturesque mountain views, but it also has a new hot tub enclosed in a dome of sorts that’s most likely made to keep the snow, rain and any other unexpected weather happenings on the outside.
The hot tub caught the attention of the Facebook page Zillow Gone Wild, and fans flocked to the comment section of the post in order to admire, crack jokes or ask questions about the property. And also draw attention to those stairs.
“Very nice but call me the practical one: I would not want to carry groceries up those stairs from the parking garage or walk that far in snow and ice...but it looked like the garage is several levels so maybe there is another way,” one fan observed.
“I really like this house but the platform under the bed would have to go,” another said. “Beautiful home!”
“The view alone is worth the price,” one fan said.
“Just what I need to trip off the bed platform in the middle of the night when I am half asleep and have to pee,” another said about the primary bedroom. “That’s a sprained ankle waiting to happen.”
“Beautiful but too many stairs,” one fan observed. “Bed stairs, bathroom stairs……every room stairs”
“That would be amazing,” another expressed about the hot tub dome. “It would be like being inside a snow globe.”
“I love everything about it,” one person gushed. “Especially the bubble.”
“Please tell me there’s a way to get to the house from the garage without going up those steps!” another exclaimed.
“I want this house,” another expressed. “I want that view. And I want my very own, personal, hot tub bubble.”
