The estate consists of “two main silolike buildings with shake conical roofs,” which are modeled after the Trulli houses located in Southeastern Italy, according to both Realtor.com and the listing.

”There aren’t that many round houses with round rooms,” listing agent G.B. Landrigan told Realtor.com.

A trullo home (singular word for the house) is composed of limestone that’s held together with dry-stone masonry and is “honestly something like a fairy tale home,” reports the blog An American In Rome.

The Indianapolis home was built in 1962 and sits on one acre of land. The larger of the two silos has a great room, loft, kitchen and primary bedroom, the listing says. The smaller one has three bedrooms and a completed attic.

“The house is a mid-century version of a 200-year-old village in Italy,” Landrigan told Realtor.com.

When peering inside both, it’s easy to see why the listing referred to both structures — connected by a short passageway — as “cool.” But the homes are not for everyone.
