‘Heartbreaking’ photo shows ‘Glee’ cast gather at lake where actress Naya Rivera died

“Glee” stars and members of actress Naya Rivera’s family gathered Monday at the California lake where her body was found, a powerful photo shows.

The somber image was captured in footage by ABC7 Eyewitness News, according to news outlets.

Rivera was confirmed dead Monday after a six-day search for her body at Lake Piru in California, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said. She was 33 and was missing after she went on a boat trip with her 4-year-old son, McClatchy News reported.

“We are confident that the body we found is that of Naya Rivera,” Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said in a news conference on Monday.

Several “Glee” stars gathered at Lake Piru to mourn their former costar’s disappearance, a photo that has been shared on social media thousands of times shows.

PEOPLE reported that Heather Morris was part of the group. Morris played Rivera’s love interest on the show. Amber Riley, who played Mercedes Jones, was also at the lake, Us Weekly reported.

The group is seen standing holding hands as they look at the lake in front of them. At least a dozen people were part of the group, the photo shows.
