Eminem and Kid Curdi had Twitter talking Friday with the release of their first collaboration, “Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady” — an in-the-moment track that took on one hot-button topic after another.

The rappers touched on COVID-19 and the death of George Floyd, took aim at New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and blasted the Trump administration.

Twitter users responded, focused on impassioned lyrics that were chippy, tough and, not surprisingly, laced with profanity.

“Prayers to George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery/ how the f*** is that so many cops are dirty?”

Eminem and Cudi focused on the deaths of Floyd, who died while in police custody on May 25 in Minneapolis, and Ahmaud Arbery, who was shot and killed on Feb. 23 while jogging outside of Brunswick, which sparked strong Twitter reactions.

“But I can’t breathe when I got you on top of me/Your g*****n knee’s on my carotid artery”

Floyd died after now-charged Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck for around eight minutes, as three other officers didn’t intervene.

Twitter user @Shadyinfo quoted the controversial lyrics along with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter along with still photos of Floyd being detained by cops.

“That’s New Orleans/f*** Drew Brees”

NFL Drew Brees drew harsh backlash when he said during a June interview with Yahoo Finance that he didn’t agree with players taking a knee during the national anthem. Brees later apologized for his remarks, calling them “insensitive” and that he stands with the Black community, McClatchy News reported.

“If Eminem says f*** Drew Brees then it’s f*** Eminem,” tweeted @_noahleleux_.

“I just used the same basket as you shopping/Now I’m in a f****** casket from you coughing (coffin)“

The coronavirus pandemic has shut down the world as we know it, with almost 12.4 million confirmed cases and over 500,000 deaths worldwide, according to Johns Hopkins University.

No place is in worse shape than the U.S., where COVID-19 cases are surging and the death toll nears 134,000, according to CNN.

The U.S. , which has over 4 % of the world’s population, “has a quarter of global cases of COVID-19 and nearly a quarter of the deaths,” CNN reports.

“Bunch of half-wits up in office (What?)/Half of us walking around like a zombie apocalypse”

The rapper is no stranger to composing music that goes after President Donald Trump and his administration.

On his album “Kamikaze,” which was released 2019, it was revealed that the Secret Service interviewed Eminem over “threatening” lyrics, Buzzfeed reported. So it comes as no shock the rapper criticized the administration in his newest track.
